A child genius who earned a doctorate at a US school at age 10, Kira became embittered at being forced back into elementary school after returning to Japan. She has delusions of grandeur in wanting to take over the world and treats a lot of people like subordinates, but she's very loyal to her friend Mei-Fang. She continues her research at the CCC and Mei-Fang is there to stop her world domination plans in their infancy.
