The sole survivor of a Summoner clan, Rydia was taken in by the knight who was used to destroy her village and kill her mother. Later on, she was swallowed by Leviathan and taken to the realm of Summoned Monsters where she quickly matured into an adult. Her love of animals makes her a natural caretaker for the CCC's pet chocobos.
